Job Description:
Job Description Job Description The Accountant will play a key
role in supporting financial operations within a manufacturing
environment. This role requires strong knowledge of cost
accounting, inventory processes, and ERP-based transaction flows.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a manufacturing
setting along with proficiency in large ERP systems such as SAP,
Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar platforms. Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including journal
entries, general ledger upkeep, and month-end closing activities.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accounts analysis, and
support financial statement preparation. Manage and reconcile
inventory, AR, and fixed assets, ensuring compliance with
accounting standards. Assist with cost accounting functions
including BOM analysis, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost
allocations. Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and expenses;
maintain detailed records for audit readiness Support continuous
process improvements and recommend enhancements to financial
workflows. Assist with annual audit activities, including the
preparation of schedules and documentation. Collaborate
cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and production
teams to validate financial impact of manufacturing activities.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
or related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least
2 years in a manufacturing environment Experience with large ERP
systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Strong
understanding of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and
reconciliations. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and
lookups Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management
skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-entity
accounting Prior involvement in ERP implementations or process
improvement projects Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour Search
